Driving Madeleine (2022). 1h 31m

“Yes, the story has a predictable ending. It doesnu0026#39;t take very long into the movie to have some idea of how itu0026#39;s going to end, but thatu0026#39;s the point.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eWhy watch a movie thatu0026#39;s pretty transparent about the ending? Because the characters are so well written, itu0026#39;s beautifully acted and before long you feel for the characters emotionally.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eThere were moments where I felt tense, my jaw clenched in anger because of how close to these characters I felt.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eIt was like I was drawn in to be a relative or a friend. I rode the knocks, felt the laughter and their sorry. They were perfectly relatable.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eIn a place where movies strive to grab your attention with explosions, or by trying to tick every box in a politically correct smorgasbord, this movie was stripped back to a couple of characters, their rapport and a story.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eTruly moving. Iu0026#39;d happily see it again.”
