VS.: Directed by Ed Lilly. With Connor Swindells, Fola Evans-Akingbola, Ruth Sheen, Emily Taaffe. VS. is an urban rites of passage drama set in the hostile and exciting UK rap battle scene.

“Itu0026#39;s not a YouTube film so obviously the production value is better. Itu0026#39;s got a good story and very human characters, the battling is icing on the cake. Shotty Horroh plays a believable villain as Slaughter. I liked the ending too. If you like battle rap youu0026#39;ll like the movie. The cameos are great fan service and the soundtrack was well-curated. They even threw in some of Shottyu0026#39;s music, which I enjoyed. Iu0026#39;m glad they didnu0026#39;t make it a comedy, I thought Bodied didnu0026#39;t do as good a job with characters or the ending. There are some lines that reference 8 Mile, and I havenu0026#39;t seen it in a long time but this movie gives it a run for its money IMO. Just needs some time to settle.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eI bought the character development and the altercations were well-performed. Itu0026#39;s not a bad movie, not sure what the fuss is about.”
