Der Fall Judas: Directed by Rabah Ameur-Zaïmeche. With Nabil Djedouani, Mohamed Aroussi, Rabah Ameur-Zaïmeche, Marie Loustalot. The last days of Jesus into Jerusalem, from the perspective of an unexpected Judas, presented as the closest of his disciples.

“I think this film will be enjoyed by whomever likes a different take on stablished narratives. Beautiful wardrove and film locations, it can be very slow paced at times but it attempts to be as focused as possible on the relationship between Jesus and Judas around the time of the crucifixion.nWhile reading another review, I noticed this film can be confusing for those who are not familiar with the events that are described in the bible and I agree but there is more, some of the scenes reproduce with more or less fidelity what is written in the apocryphal gospels as well. Things like Judas Iscariot being the closest friend of Jesus, Marie Magdalene as part of the group that accompanied Jesus and other hints.”
