Die Bestie von nebenan: Directed by Paul Krasny. With Don Meredith, Sarah Purcell, Jennifer Salt, Kim Lankford. A police sergeant and a parole officer endeavor to stop a rapist-on-parole before he can follow through his threats on five women whom testifed against him years earlier.

“I vaguely remember watching this television movie around the time it first came out, but it was a rather good drama/suspense film. Simply put, itu0026#39;s a story about a paroled rapist who threatens to get his revenge on the group of women (I think they were all airline flight attendants) who testified against him and put him in prison in the first place. Itu0026#39;s noteworthy to watch for Ted Shackelford, who plays the rapist, since he portrayed Gary Ewing on u0026quot;Knots Landing.u0026quot; This character is NOTHING like Gary Ewing, thatu0026#39;s for sure! He was was joined by Kim Lankford, as one of his victims, who was his u0026quot;Knots Landingu0026quot; co-star; she played Ginger Ward in the first four seasons. I would guess that this was probably made before u0026quot;Knots Landingu0026quot; premiered, even though it came out after that show began in late 1979. It stars a lot of mid to late 70u0026#39;s TV actors, such as Sarah Purcell (u0026quot;Real Peopleu0026quot;), Jennifer Salt (u0026quot;SOAPu0026quot;), Sharon Spelman (u0026quot;Angieu0026quot;), and Pat Klous (u0026quot;Flying Highu0026quot; and later u0026quot;The Love Boatu0026quot; as Lauren Tewesu0026#39; replacement) as well as Don Meredith, the former football player who used to peddle iced tea in those commercials. Itu0026#39;s worth a viewing if youu0026#39;re a u0026quot;Knots Landingu0026quot; fan or like TV movies with lots of actors from classic, cheesy 70u0026#39;s shows.”
