The Christmas Edition (TV Movie 2020)

The Christmas Edition: Directed by Peter Sullivan. With Carly Hughes, Rob Mayes, Marie Osmond, Aloma Wright. It’s Christmas time and Jackie (Carly Hughes), an up-and-coming journalist, finds that her life is at a crossroads until she finds an unexpected opportunity – to run a small-town newspaper in Alaska. Jackie decides to give it a try and relocates to the picture-perfect town. Using a series of Christmas articles, she’s able to quickly return the newspaper to profitability and soon falls in love – both with her new home and the handsome son of the paper’s former owner. However, when her old boss announces plans to take over the paper for herself, Jackie will need a Christmas miracle to save it.

“This was really good! This was my first time seeing Carly Hughes, and she was fantastic! Itu0026#39;s nice to see new faces in these movies! She is a good actress, and from looking her up, she can really sing! Too bad she didnu0026#39;t get a longer singing part. And her matching up with Rob Mayes was believable! Not the falling deeply in love in a short time, but really connecting with someone for the interest of the cause! I took off 1 star because please, can we get another story line, besides going to Alaska, and seeing the Northern Lights. And can the actors, do a better job of drinking those u0026quot;HOTu0026quot; drinks!!! That wonu0026#39;t stop me from watching all the available Christmas movies, because they still are fun, enjoyable, happy endings, which I like!”
