“If youu0026#39;re familiar with Fametracker and its u0026#39;Hey! Itu0026#39;s that guy!u0026#39; feature, youu0026#39;ll understand what I mean by an u0026#39;itu0026#39;s-himu0026#39;. Itu0026#39;s when you watch a film and all the way through youu0026#39;re pointing at second banana actors going u0026#39;Oh look, itu0026#39;s himu0026#39;. One of the pleasures of this film is trying to work out exactly why so-and-sou0026#39;s face is familiar and then realising itu0026#39;s Prior Robert from TVs Cadfael, or something similar.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eI read the play Conduct Unbecoming at school, and while this film does not go quite as deeply into the themes it throws up, ie moral bankruptcy in the British Raj/army and macho values in general, it remains a well-made, well acted period drama redolent of the distinctive spirit of the period.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eThen again, I could be biased because I find Milington so dishy (he played Herod Agrippa in I, Claudius, in case youu0026#39;re stumped!)”
