“This is an interesting portrayal of Rome 40 BC and it somehow scratches that Rome itch, but the similarities stop here.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eThe series approach the period from a dramatic and somewhat close historic narrative with multiple pov in reference to the events past Julius Caesar stabbing and where that lead Rome forward.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eFirst 2 episodes might be a tad off-putting with the Zoom-er approach but it works really well in the following ones with a coherent character development/motivation and plot.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eWithout spoiling too much the actors did a fantastic job portraying their characters and Iu0026#39;m looking forward for the second season and I hope they improve the production quality.”
