Extracurricular Activities: Directed by Jay Lowi. With Patrick Fabian, Angela Kinsey, Colin Ford, Darlene Vogel. A mature, intelligent high school student has a side job arranging “accidental” deaths (no 2 alike) of fellow students’ parents. A cop detective notices this student being connected to all the kids of dead parents. Who wins the face-off?

“It takes a lot of unrealistically dumb characters for the whole town, school, and police department to be fooled by a 17 year old kid. This is not a spoiler, as youu0026#39;re made aware from the beginning that heu0026#39;s the one behind the murders, and the plot is basically about one bumbling detective, who happens to be the only smart person in the entire universe as far as this narrative is concerned, and his pursuit of this seemingly upstanding juvenile delinquent. Itu0026#39;s a dark comedy, so I understand that I shouldnu0026#39;t be too harsh or take it too seriously, but the killer really got under my skin. Perhaps thatu0026#39;s the point, and maybe thatu0026#39;s something that should be applauded. Heathers set the tone for films like these, but it takes a lot of suspension of disbelief to think that there are this many evil students, this many oblivious cops siding with a kid over their 15-year veteran detective, and a teenager who has a plan for everything that is seamlessly realized without a hiccup time and time again. To say itu0026#39;s a great film would be a perfect crime.”
