Nel sole: Directed by Aldo Grimaldi. With Romina Power, Al Bano, Linda Christian, Carlo Giordana. Carlo, a poor youth who works to pay for his studies, and is in love with Lorena, a rich girl. He pretends to be a tycoon with the help of two friends of his: a butler and a chauffeur.

“This is probably how American-born actress and singer, Romina Power, met her future husband, Albano, in this wonderful romantic musical. Althugh Albano does most of the singing in this movie, it is a delight. But first, I must point out that this film came out in 1967 and that Romina was only 15 or 16 at the time, while Albano has 8 years ahead of her. But only in a European film, could you get away with a teenage girl getting really romantic with an older gentleman. If you tried to do this in the USA, youu0026#39;d probably end up in jail. This is why iu0026#39;m giving this film 9 stars instead of 10 stars. Mexican actress, Linda Christian, whou0026#39;s also the mom of Romina (dont forget her dad was Tyrone Power!) in real life plays her mom as well in the film.”
