Villains: Directed by Dan Berk, Robert Olsen. With Bill Skarsgård, Maika Monroe, Blake Baumgartner, Jeffrey Donovan. After a pair of amateur criminals break into a suburban home, they stumble upon a dark secret that two sadistic homeowners will do anything to keep from getting out.

“I really like Maika, everything she is in is quirky and fun (THE GUEST, was awesome). The male lead was also great, as were the u0026quot;evilu0026quot; couple. The acting was so on point, and everyone was incredibly likeable, I think they made the film better than it otherwise wouldu0026#39;ve been!u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eWith that said, the plot is kinda wonky, and itu0026#39;s nothing you havenu0026#39;t seen 100x itu0026#39;s kinda the typical, u0026quot;outlaws stumble upon a dangerous abodeu0026quot; type film.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eAs much as Iu0026#39;m not a comedy fan really, if this was a straight up comedy, it wouldu0026#39;ve been AMAZING!! But…itu0026#39;s actually a crime/horror/drama/comedy. I believe it tried to be so much that it never really decided what to be. The beginning was light hearted and funny, the middle was a bit odd, but tries to be serious, and the final act it gets super dark out of no where.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eItu0026#39;s one of those movies that youu0026#39;re glad you saw but probably wonu0026#39;t watch again. I liked it, I wanted to love it.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eFind myself saying this fairly often, but this too wouldu0026#39;ve been a fantastic TV show.”
