Nightshift – Das Leichenhaus flippt völlig aus: Directed by Ron Howard. With Henry Winkler, Michael Keaton, Shelley Long, Gina Hecht. A morgue attendant is talked into running a brothel at his workplace after a deceased pimp is sent there. However, the pimp’s killers don’t look too kindly on this new ‘business’, nor does the morgue’s owner.

“I saw this film a long time ago, just when it was new (1982) and was blown away by the very talented Mr. Keaton.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eAlso notable are Henry Winkler in a most restrained and touching way. u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003enA welcome surprise is Shelley Long (For the record: I am NOT her fan) as a prostitute u0026quot;with a heart of goldu0026quot;.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eA small, early gem from the Ron Howard-Ganz-Mandel team, with some personal touches, to wit: The line when `Belindau0026#39; (Shelley Long) tells `Chucku0026#39; (Henry Winkler) just after they made love that `she is not wearing her watchu0026#39; to let him know that she loves him is just beautiful, a nice, semi-polished little gem that I think most people can appreciate and enjoy.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eTrivia: Clint Howard in a small role (His brother, Ron almost always gives him work.)u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eTrivia: In the closing credits Rod Stewart sings a beautiful version of `Thatu0026#39;s what friends are foru0026#39; that would later be made really popular by u0026quot;Dionne Warwick and friendsu0026quot;.”
