Oda do radosci: Directed by Anna Kazejak, Jan Komasa, Maciej Migas. With Przemyslaw Bluszcz, Joanna Bogacka, Anna Maria Buczek, Malgorzata Buczkowska. Three stories of young disillusioned Poles of different background and region of origin. What binds them together is that they all meet on the bus to London shortly after Poland’s entry into EU.

“This was the first Polish film I was watching, and going by the lofty cinematic standards set by Europeans I was expecting another beautifully crafted gritty drama depicting the pain of modern life- I was hardly disappointed. The film involves 3 parallel subplots( Silesia,Warsaw, The Sea) and depicts the changing lifestyle in Poland as viewed by three ambitious youngsters. Equipped with an unbelievably talented cast of young actors , Ode to Joy succeeds on every possible level of film-making. It is quite obvious that the script has been prepared with a lot of sensitivity and the direction and acting is flawless. What more could one ask from cinema?”
