“Grateful for such a transparent and raw movie on mental heath in the black community. This movie was not only shocking but eye opening and informative. I didnu0026#39;t expect it to make me tear up at the end but it sure did. Itu0026#39;s not an Oscar winner but it is a candid portrayal of what could be anyoneu0026#39;s story dealing with mental illness. I love the unconditional love showed in this film. Kyla Pratt adds a nice touch as well as the male lead. As skeptical as I was of the film I ended it with an inspirational outlook and more compassion and respect for those who suffer with these demons. Kudos to the cast and and the production team. Well done. Decent script, no guns, drug use, sex or unnecessary stereotypes perpetuated just good storytelling and realism. A breath of fresh air for african american films.”
