“The first half of this episode is a very interesting piece on the work that went into creating the first Disneyland. The level of detail, craft, skill and artistry that went into development is amazing. Whilst the programme is meant to be lighthearted it provides some fascinating information on the construction, research and logistic that went into the park. The second half is an amazing document that shows Disney himself talking about Mickey, and shows an excerpt from the first ever Mickey cartoon – u0026#39;Plane Crazyu0026#39; which was, however, not released until after.u0026#39;Steamboat Willieu0026#39; as well as Mickeyu0026#39;s most famous scene in u0026#39;Fantasiau0026#39; – albeit in black and white. A very interesting historical document from a very different time in US history.”
