“The outdoor scenes (and likely some of the indoor, as well) were filmed at Elysium Fields in Topanga Canyon. I know that because I frequented the resort back in the late 80s and 90s. I never thought Iu0026#39;d see it again (it closed permanently in 2001). The nudist colony, known as Elysium Fields, opened itu0026#39;s welcoming arms in the 60s to Bohemians living the hippie lifestyle in the hills of Topanga Canyon – the purpose being to offer solitude in uninhibited nude living. Those of the happy commune enjoyed their personal freedom until they were inadvertently forced to sell the property in 2002.u0026quot;”
