“Difficult to say what I saw. At first sight, an exercises of improvisation. Nice to cool but out of coherent story.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eFor 40 years, eight good friends meet in a bar of Paris, in a sort of club. One of them was expelled from group but he is present. Other, significant member of this community, is absent.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eThe good points, maybe the presence , nostalgic, bitter to melancholic, of Gerard Depardieu as Michael and Yoshi trial.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eIn rest, venerable men and their hypocrisy, jokes, importance, friendship, fears, vulnerability, cowardness against the bartender who seems only alive characters .u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eFar to be a bad film, it reminding the familiar traits of an age not easy to be accepted and the naked reality behind apparences, with demonstrations of stupidity, it can be boring and release. But it can be perceived as hommage of director for a world , brilliant yesterday, front to its extingtion. For all reserves , the end is a reasonable consolation.”
