“I was unsure what to expect from this, and didnu0026#39;t expect a lot to be quite frank…u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eThe main points I managed to take away from this are that firstly, Hope not Hate (mainly Nick Lowles) has gathered lots of information regarding the subject matter he wished to convey, but failed to show that the main archive room had a lot to be shared publically. The HnH team are besotted with Nicku0026#39;s ideology and are having a nice time travelling around europe, acting like high school grade media study supersleuths. The documentary team express various stray emotions and are each acutely pained for exaggerated amounts of time when it comes to things such as graffiti or the thought processes of school playground chitter chatter.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eI know the timing of this release was ideal for the narrative, and if tooled correctly could have been used to sway or indeed swat public opinions to the left of cultural politics, but overall it was not very hard hitting or even thought provoking. Often the clips which appeared, the dialogue given and the intent behind the meta given in this production lacked real context, providing no justice to allow even me to form an opinion or allow myself to question any preconceived beleif.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eI reckon the goal will not be met on this purely due to much sidetracking and poor story telling. The ending music was quite catchy though!”
