“The back drop of this movie revolves around the tension leading up to the not guilty verdict then the riots themselves. The central characters of Tyrese Gibson and Ray Liotta parallel that same tension in the explosive story they tell. I really have to say I was impressed with how the director was able to capture the intensity of both the riots and central characters lives.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eI was not expecting much as Iu0026#39;ve never really cared for movies that feature Tyrese Gibson. In fact, a story like this I pictured more of an Ice Cube, Don Cheadle, or even Wesley Snipes. Still, with a powerhouse actor like Ray Liotta, Gibson holds his own. This by far the best thriller to come out of the summer/fall season.”
