Golmaal Again (2017). 2h 20m | Not Rated

“I already knew that this movie is going to be a big torture since I had lost confidence in Rohit Shetty after his big blunders- Dilwale and Golmaal 3. But since I had already watched Secret Superstar with my friends and my parents wanted to watch a movie, I had to choose Golmaal Again. And Trust me, it was worse than what I thought. It was like a nightmare to tolerate this garbage for 2.5 hours. I could have left the theater in the middle, but my parents said that it would be a wastage of money, which we had spent for tickets. So I sat and watched.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eNow coming to the essence, this movie has only a few seconds during which you can actually laugh. Seriously I am not exaggerating anything, the movie has only one or two scenes during which I really felt to laugh that too for very few seconds. Now rating each and every sphere of the movie. u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eStory: The film doesnu0026#39;t have any story-line. Nothing!!! A plain boring journey with no humor, no horror, and suspense. I agree, film poster already says u0026quot;no logic only magicu0026quot;, but at least there should be some humor, there should be some good performances. But not a single moment of entertainment. Plain boring and forced story (not worth telling at all). 0/10 for the story. u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eDirection: Another dismal and miserable attempt of Rohit Shetty to make people laugh and this time it has got worse than it could be. He knows it really well that how to fool people by taking a huge star-cast and releasing his movie around a big festival. 1/10 for direction.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003ePerformances: The movie is filled with tons of stars. But none of them makes an impact expect Johnny Lever and Prakash Raj. Ajay Devgn is one of my favorite actors in Bollywood, but in this movie even he seems helpless, trapped between poor story and no scope to perform. Another big disappointment was Tusshar Kapoor who also fails to create humor. Rest of the star cast just blindly followed whatever said to them. 2/10 for performances. One each for Johnny Lever and Prakash Raj.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eMusic: Music has nothing to do in the film. But still, it is OK and accompanied by a good choreography. u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eCinematography: The ONLY thing that gave pleasure to my eyes was the terrific beauty of Ooty, which was well captured in this film. I had never thought Ooty to be so beautiful. This film has really created an urge in me to visit Ooty during my next vacation. 10/10 for cinematography. u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eThe last verdict: Golmaal: the fun unlimited was awesome, Golmaal Returns was average, Golmaal 3 was poor and Golmaal Again is the worse thing you can see in a comedy movie. It is a complete waste of time and that time can be spent better somewhere else. If you really like people slapping others and making them bounce and spin here and there and you call it a comedy, you can go for it, otherwise, please go for Secret Superstar, it is a way better movie and a must watch.”
