“Look, this is a low budget campy bloody comedy film adaptation of a graphic novel. So itu0026#39;s not An American Werewolf in London, and its not The Evil Dead. There isnu0026#39;t even a single scare in it. But thereu0026#39;s not SUPPOSED to be.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eInstead you get some decent CGI effects, some blood, some funny dialog, and a goofy story that holds together. The acting is decent, running between rather good for low-budget and a bit too stiff (the twin sisters are super cute but havenu0026#39;t completely given in to the campy aspect of the movie…but theyu0026#39;re still tolerable).u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eThe film moves along at a decent clip, it never gets stuck in the mud or becomes boring, and it feels a bit shorter than it is which is always a good sign. Plus those are signs of better direction and better screen writing; this obviously went through the necessary rewrites, and on the editing table move good decisions were made.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eAll in all it was a good watch and worth the time, and I expect to see more from this group in the future.”
