Props to the sfx teamu003c/liu003eu003cliu003eThe closeup of the scorpion was pretty cool. Some of the scenery/artistic shots were actually done pretty wellu003c/liu003eu003cliu003eDidnu0026#39;t drag as much as some of these below budget B moviesu003c/liu003eu003cliu003eI laughed at the part where the almost kiss got interrupted. That was pretty good.u003c/liu003eu003c/ulu003eu003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eThe Cons:nu003culu003eu003cliu003eWhatever band did the songs. Iu0026#39;m sorry but whoever said it sounded like they were karaoke Trent Reznor was rightu003c/liu003eu003cliu003eLike all of these low budget monster films they drag out u0026quot;getting to know the charactersu0026quot; when everyone knows theyu0026#39;re all going to die. The movie could have been a lot shorter without the unnecessary partying and over exposition. Nothing super exciting happens until like an hour in and even then itu0026#39;s not particularly scaryu003c/liu003eu003cliu003eThe camerawork. Shaky and all over the place.u003c/liu003eu003cliu003eThe acting was stilted. Not as bad as some Iu0026#39;ve seen, but it definitely felt like it was a college movie projectu003c/liu003eu003cliu003eNobody knows how to fire a gunu003c/liu003eu003c/ulu003eu003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eOverall: unless you want to watch roughly an hour of twenty/thirty-somethings fumbling through a script, or watch something you donu0026#39;t have to pay much attention to for 90% of the time, pick something else. Iu0026#39;m honestly giving it three stars because of the special effects team and most of the scenery shots.”
