“Just seen this at the Glasgow Film Festival. This is a well thought out film that focuses on the life of an organised office worker in Mexico in the early nineties (I would have placed it in the eighties except that they mention cell phones).u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eMartinez is a man of habit, he does his job efficiently, he goes swimming regularly and he avoids the social aspects of his job meticulously IE office parties.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eHe is informed that he is to take compulsory retirement and has to train his successor.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eMeanwhile something happens in his apartment block that shows a private side to him that his colleagues are unaware of.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eThe three main protagonists are all lonely, the director does a great job in uncovering the various truths of their lives.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eI recommend this film, itu0026#39;s well acted, well shot and is equally humourous and poignant in equal measures.”
