“When this film ended, I felt as if Iu0026#39;d spent an hour and a half in an asylum. Keeping up with Brianu0026#39;s belief system is exhausting. Brian is like the ultimate believer, he believes so hard that he is blind to everything else around him. To those of us outside his delusion, itu0026#39;s hard not to laugh, especially at his contradictions and lack of knowledge about the bible. I suppose all messiahs must come across as delusional, but this one has no special purpose from god, and godu0026#39;s not talking to him, and you have to admire his willingness to ignore or misinterpret whatu0026#39;s happening around him. The u0026quot;gliding Jesusu0026quot; car chase was hilarious, but served to illustrate Aaronu0026#39;s limited functioning. I must say that I particularly enjoyed Miriamu0026#39;s various u0026quot;takesu0026quot;, small changes in her face and posture in reaction to Brianu0026#39;s various lunacies. This was a subtle and nuanced job of acting. Also, keep an eye on her costume changes through the story. Youu0026#39;d like to think that sheu0026#39;s more u0026quot;normalu0026quot; than all the rest of them; but really, sheu0026#39;s just as cracked the others.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eMost of these characters should be in an institution somewhere, not out running around loose. Itu0026#39;s a very funny movie, but Iu0026#39;m glad Iu0026#39;m on the outside looking in.”
