“With stellar jazz-age tunes this movie starts on fire and never fades.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eItu0026#39;s funny. Itu0026#39;s sexy. It challenges the boundaries of the day. u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eI kept thinking: I was born several decades too late. u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eMakes me sad Colleen Moore didnu0026#39;t make many movies after this, before retiring in the mid-30s. Also fun to see u0026#39;u0026#39;Commissioner Gordonu0026#39;u0026#39; in the silent era. Supporting cast is well above average. And maybe most surprising of all itu0026#39;s all so natural. None of that ham- boned silent-era acting. Itu0026#39;s almost as if the actors were delivering their lines in a talkie. u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eThank heavens for TCM, or weu0026#39;d never see this great movie.I could watch this movie over and over again.”
