From Hand to Mouse (Short 1944). 7m

“One of the one-shot cartoons from Warner Bros. features a gullible lion repeatedly tricked by a manipulative rodent. The racial stereotypes in u0026quot;From Hand to Mouseu0026quot; are unpleasant, but the rest of the cartoon is a hoot (including a scene of WWII-era rationing). I looked at the dates of Warneru0026#39;s cartoon releases, and it turns out that weu0026#39;re a few days away from this oneu0026#39;s 75th anniversary.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eI understand that this cartoon is based on one of Aesopu0026#39;s fables. I unfortunately have not had as much exposure to them as I would like. The ones that I know got depicted – in fractured form – on u0026quot;Rocky and Bullwinkleu0026quot;. u0026quot;The Lion and the Mouseu0026quot; is not one that Iu0026#39;ve seen from there.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eAnyway, itu0026#39;s a funny cartoon. I recommend it.”
