Caught in the Crossfire (2010). 1h 25m | R

“Cops talking about how a street gang put the targets on their own backs, then a shaky-cam filmed street battle; next we get to see one of those rooms with a one-way mirror, but the room is just as dark as the corridor. Clearly, the lighting cameraman is telling us, weu0026#39;re in murky territory, one of those movies in which the only difference between the cops and the gangs is the badges.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eBrian Milleru0026#39;s cops-vs-cops drama is a standard affair, with Chris Klein, Adam Rodriguez, and Curtis Jackson. It has two action sequences that bookend endless talk over a series of shots by cinematographer William Eubank. He tries to keep up interest with close-ups of paper coffee cups, and putting the camera so close to the subject the lens fogs. It doesnu0026#39;t work for me, since the background is never interesting, so itu0026#39;s all endless talk.”
