“Iu0026#39;m stunned to see how bad some of the reviews are for it, and how as of today it has a score of 5.4.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eIu0026#39;m definitely standing up for Carry on Girls, I love it, from the opening credits, and itu0026#39;s opening music, to the very end. I understand that itu0026#39;s totally non Politically Correct, a phrase that didnu0026#39;t really occur in the 70s, but itu0026#39;s all harmless fun. A bit saucier then the usual Carry on Films, but itu0026#39;s hardly offensive.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eIt has a great cast, and all are on top form, oh my days Joan Hickson literally has me in tears, she is so funny!! I wish sheu0026#39;d appeared in many more of them… 5 was not enoughu003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eMargaret Nolan was simply jaw dropping, what a stunning girl, she had a much more substantial role then in her previous appearances, the fight scene with Babs was big fun. Patsy Rowlands also had a much more substantial part, she was fun.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eI donu0026#39;t think there was a standout performance, all were on good form, possibly Sidu0026#39;s charisma gives him the edge.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eOf course itu0026#39;s the finale that youu0026#39;re waiting for, it doesnu0026#39;t disappoint, Peter Butterworthu0026#39;s reactions are hilarious, alright itu0026#39;s not the absolute best entry, but it makes me laugh out loud and iu0026#39;ve seen it hundreds of times, 8/10”
