“Marc Greenburg has been the executive producer for loads of feature-length and short films that have been shown late at night on the premium cable channels for years. His name in the credits is a guarantee that there will be a lot of skin and sex in what follows. Even if theyu0026#39;re not the most intellectually edifying things youu0026#39;ll ever see, they have usually been decent productions of at least a certain standard. But a couple of his films lately havenu0026#39;t lived up to any standards at all, except low ones.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eu0026#39;Rebeccau0026#39;s Secretu0026#39; is about the worst in this regard. The decision seems to have been made to u0026quot;give u0026#39;em what they want,u0026quot; that is, several attractive women taking off their clothes every few minutes and having sex. Certainly that will be enough for some viewers but most of them are used to a least some minimum levels of proficiency in acting and screenwriting. The script to this movie couldnu0026#39;t have been worked on any longer than it took to hammer it out on a typewriter. Plus the acting is so lackluster, or just plain bad, if you will, that I canu0026#39;t imagine more than one take was filmed of any scene.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eAmy Rochelle is the star and at this point can barely be described as an actress. Avalon Anders, usually seen in her movies au naturel, is at least marginally better, and Lauren Hayes might actually be a legitimate thespian, if not a first-rate one. All of them look great without clothes, and the camera does not roll for long without one of them appearing nude. This is the filmu0026#39;s only saving grace. Even the simulated sex is done badly about half the time, though it looks like the director finally said OK, letu0026#39;s try to make it look real. If youu0026#39;re just looking for a movie full of nudity and sex, this is it, but you may be surprised to find yourself thinking thatu0026#39;s not enough.”
