“I watched the film by accident, and was fascinated from the first second. I have to say that I just watched u0026quot;Winterkinderu0026quot; – http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0478326 – a few weeks before and since then was fascinated by the topic in general – the for the ones born u0026quot;lateru0026quot; unbelievable and sometimes hard to understand u0026quot;daily realityu0026quot; of the history of our parent and grandparents. In one comment on this film is written that the film always would be u0026quot;positiveu0026quot; and never depressing. I donu0026#39;t share that opinion. When the three children of one of the Stasi victims donu0026#39;t even have the urgent need to talk and/or to understand their parents history (and tend to say u0026quot;itu0026#39;s history, we should come to an end nowu0026quot;), I think it cannot be more depressing, if one tries to feel like the parents must feel listening to their children. The film is necessary, sometimes depressing, mostly informative and all together just great. And of course, there are very stirring moments, which also can be named u0026quot;positiveu0026quot; (when the two daughters of another victim start to think about talking with their father and asking themselves why they never did until now). Iu0026#39;m very keen on watching this film next year in Dresden, I hope I will be able to manage that date, inclusive meeting some actors!”
