Tom of Finland: Directed by Dome Karukoski. With Pekka Strang, Seumas F. Sargent, Chris Myland, Alf Myreen. Award-winning filmmaker Dome Karukoski brings to screen the life and work of artist Touko Valio Laaksonen (aka Tom of Finland), one of the most influential and celebrated figures of twentieth century gay culture.

“Itu0026#39;s not bad, itu0026#39;s just not memorable.nBy trying to insert many years of Tomu0026#39;s life, the writer lost the chance to insert some gravitas into it all.nIt seemed like the focus was going to be Tomu0026#39;s relationship with his sister but then it kinda fizzled out… was it going to be about his love life? Nop, a sudden off-screen ending to that, its publishing process… just a bit here and there, easily and fastly solved. Hence, the lack of memorability.”
