Harley (2023). 2h 5m

“No real story, very cheap action scenes, no real lessons, just an Eid cash grab. I could not have created a worse cash grab myself had I been given a couple cameras and millions of dollars. There arenu0026#39;t even any real action scenes with the motorcycles. Itu0026#39;s like they were too cheap to use real Harleys for anything. Overall, I think there are better ways to waste an hour and a half at a cinema if youu0026#39;re free around or after Eid. Egyptian cinema is a disgrace.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eTruly remarkable how awful and nonsensical this film was. I strongly advise saving your time and money – this film is simply not worth either. Hereu0026#39;s hoping the next Eid brings an actually entertaining film for audiences. My advice: skip this one.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eThe film lacks any semblance of a coherent plot or story. The action scenes, if you can even call them that, look to be shot by amateurs. There are no high-speed chases or stunts of note, just people riding around on bikes that are clearly not the Harleys theyu0026#39;re meant to portray. The film seems to exist solely to cash in on the Eid holiday, not because the creators had any vision or message they actually wanted to share through the medium of film.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eEgyptian cinema deserves so much better than this kind of lazily and hastily made drivel. The talent and resources clearly exist to produce quality films, so itu0026#39;s disappointing to see them squandered in this way. I hope future Eid releases will aim higher and actually strive to entertain and engage audiences rather than just capitalize on a holiday. Filmgoers should save their money and time by skipping this movie altogether. Overall, a shoddy film and a missed opportunity for Egyptian cinema. Hereu0026#39;s hoping they get it right for the next Eid!”
