“This genre of film originated in the 1970s, and for good reason. Color film did not become perfected until the 1960s, and even then only the A-list productions could afford it. In that decade literally dozens of top-rated, award-winning films, were still in Bu0026amp;W. Google it. Everything changed in the 70s. Color film was cheaper and anyone could rent a Bolex camera and editing equipment … and make a movie. Which is what happened. Not all the u0026quot;experimentsu0026quot; in film making were a success but they were all interesting. The torture/revenge/art genre started here, and continues today. Which brings us to this second in the Skinford series from a creator who has mad skills — yet seems oddly determined to use those skills to frustrate viewers with ideas, arcs, and entire scenes that seem to go absolutely nowhere … yet remain somehow compulsively watchable anyway. Not quite like anything you have seen before.
