“A bit of advice for Mr. Cook: Donu0026#39;t talk about your girlfriend in your standup. I know you donu0026#39;t have any problem with the age difference, but your audience does. The second Dane brought up his GF and their age difference during this special I think he lost about 1/2 of them.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eOverall, this special was u0026quot;okayu0026quot;. Dane sounds similar to his previous work but thereu0026#39;s a lot of bite missing.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eThe longest part of this routine was an extended story Dane Cook told about a stalking event he recently supposedly experienced.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eThe fact that this incident definitely never happened didnu0026#39;t help it one bit. That Iu0026#39;m supposed to believe any celebrity in Hollywood wouldnu0026#39;t instantly call the cops if a stalker showed up at their door is laughable at best. Gotta ground your stories in the realm of believability for me to enjoy it.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eThe second story was about Daneu0026#39;s GF, and the fact that he quickly dropped it tells me it was going over about as well as it sounded like it was with his audience. (BTW he mentioned he was 49 and she was 23…but failed to mention he was 43 and she was 17 when they met)u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eDane has apparently lost a lot of his audience, though. I was surprised no one else had reviewed this special before me, considering it came out over 6 months ago.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eOh well, you got 5 bucks from me at least, Dane. Enjoy your giant house and your teenager girlfriend.”
