However, I will say that the movieu0026#39;s cover and its synopsis both had some appeal to it. Plus, it being a movie that I hadnu0026#39;t already seen, that too weighed for me sitting down to watch it.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eWriter Leo Hwi put together an enjoyable script and storyline here. The narrative was good and straight forward. It is a somewhat simplistic plot actually, but it still proved to be entertaining. It should be noted, however, that u0026quot;Longmen Town Innu0026quot; somehow felt rather similar in concept and idea to the 1992 Hong Kong movie u0026quot;Dragon Innu0026quot;.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eI wasnu0026#39;t familiar with the cast ensemble in u0026quot;Longmen Town Innu0026quot;, but they had a good cast ensemble to bring the characters to life on the screen, and they put on good performances.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eThe martial arts and fight scenes throughout the course of the movie were good and nicely choreographed. Director Yin Qing-Ze had put just enough action and fight scenes into the movie to keep it well-paced and entertaining, whereas some other similar movies cram as much fighting into the narrative as humanly possible.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eWhile u0026quot;Longmen Town Innu0026quot; is not going to become a classic, it still does prove entertaining and enjoyable, especially if you like era-set Chinese movies that combine martial arts and drama.
