“Seeing that this was the product of a bunch of film students coming together to make something is really really cool.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eThe concept is really fun, some of the acting is pretty solid for being nobodies and I enjoyed the sort of Midwest humor and sensibilities of the film. However, the film is far from perfect, and has its issues. I get that itu0026#39;s mashing genres, and sometimes that works. But in certain circumstances it hurts the film I feel. It leans far more into the vein of cooky crime than intense thriller. Pretty slow burn, but still does feel it has some pace to it.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003ePositives:nu003culu003eu003cliu003eGreat score.u003c/liu003eu003c/ulu003eu003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eu003culu003eu003cliu003eFun concept.u003c/liu003eu003c/ulu003eu003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eu003culu003eu003cliu003eSolid acting from the leads.u003c/liu003eu003c/ulu003eu003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eu003culu003eu003cliu003eCool locations.u003c/liu003eu003c/ulu003eu003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eu003culu003eu003cliu003eLooks good.u003c/liu003eu003c/ulu003eu003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eNegatives:nu003culu003eu003cliu003eDoesnu0026#39;t commit to being entirely serious or entirely a joke.u003c/liu003eu003c/ulu003eu003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eu003culu003eu003cliu003eSome of the worse acting took me out of it.u003c/liu003eu003c/ulu003eu003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eu003culu003eu003cliu003eSluggish middle act.u003c/liu003eu003c/ulu003eu003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eu003culu003eu003cliu003eDoesnu0026#39;t seem to have much interest in being actually scary.u003c/liu003eu003c/ulu003eu003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eOverall, probably more of 6.5/10 than a 7.
