“It is a good unpretentious drama with simple yet very true story about Ukrainian life and mother-son relationships. Camerawork stands out however may feel like a videoclip sometimes, also there is a lot of beautiful scenery and interesting places shown through the movie. Actors did a great job, especially an actress who portrayed mother character. Plus there was a cool hypnotic retro wave soundtrack and Twin Peaks reference. Although movie might seem slow and boring it is characteristic of its genre and at the end of the day it should strike you with emotions which it does. May recommend almost for everyone cause of mother-child theme.”
