“Itu0026#39;s definitely a breath of fresh air to get to see this kind of Filipino movie. Part of their marketing is that this is the first AmazonPrime-produced filipino movie and iu0026#39;d say it really did not disappoint. I would not say this is original since Itu0026#39;s taking pages off Agatha Christieu0026#39;s novels – i observed touches of u0026#39;Ten Little Indiansu0026#39; (And Then There Were None), u0026#39;ABC Murderu0026#39;. u0026#39;Black Coffeeu0026#39; and u0026#39;Murder on the Orient Expressu0026#39;. But since Christieu0026#39;s novels arenu0026#39;t really big here in Asia it would pass to be something new for Filipinos. Execution and script is great – It embodied local culture discussing the reality in a life of a mistress, female empowerment and self-respect. Concept is well executed and the satirical aspects were timely. Cinematography is great and I think the production team did a great job selecting the actor/actresses. Kudos to all the u0026#39;mistressesu0026#39; as they were all brilliant in their own way. I just think it would have been better if each of the mistressesu0026#39; backstory (or murder motive) were highlighted -as that would have added to the mystery theme. It would have been generic had it not been for the comedic antics and sequences. It was a fun movie overall and definitely above average. Thumbs up to all the cast and crew for a well-delivered, enjoyable 2 hours.”
