“I had never actually heard about this 2006 movie titled u0026quot;Devilu0026#39;s Denu0026quot; prior to stumbling upon it here in 2023 and sitting down to watch it. But seeing that the movie had the likes of Kelly Hu, Devon Sawa and Ken Foree on the cast list, of course I had to watch it.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eWhile u0026quot;Devilu0026#39;s Denu0026quot; is made in 2006, I canu0026#39;t help but notice how much the movieu0026#39;s script and storyline is borrowing from the 1996 movie u0026quot;From Dusk Till Dawnu0026quot; and the 1998 movie u0026quot;Bladeu0026quot;. So if you sort of think a mixture of those two movies and on a smaller budget, then you have the result that is u0026quot;Devilu0026#39;s Denu0026quot; from writer Mitch Gould and director Jeff Burr. I am not saying it is a bad storyline or anything, because I was definitely entertained, but it was blatantly a movie ripping off or borrowing a bit too much from both u0026quot;From Dusk Till Dawnu0026quot; and u0026quot;Bladeu0026quot;.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eThey had a good cast ensemble in the movie, and it was really nice to see Kelly Hu, Devon Sawa and Ken Foree on the screen, as they are all icons in their own rights. They carried the movie quite nicely here.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eVisually then I found u0026quot;Devilu0026#39;s Denu0026quot; to be good. The special effects were good and the make-up and prostethics were good. But again, the movie borrowed very heavily from the movie u0026quot;From Dusk Till Dawnu0026quot;.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eAll in all, I found u0026quot;Devilu0026#39;s Denu0026quot; to be an enjoyable and entertaining movie.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eMy rating of u0026quot;Devilu0026#39;s Denu0026quot; lands on a six out of ten stars.”
