ChristCore (2012). ChristCore: Directed by Justin Ludwig. ChristCORE is an inside look at the explosive subculture of Christian hardcore music which is surging across North America. Filmmaker and atheist punk rocker Justin Ludwig goes on tour with two evangelical hardcore bands — driven newcomers Messengers and Christcore superstars Sleeping Giant — culminating in the important Cornerstone Christian Music Festival. The tribulations of touring combine with the trials of preaching from the stage for these talented musicians and devoted evangelical Christians.

“I saw it yesterday in Montreal. This movie really got into me, even though I consider myself an atheist. Itu0026#39;s incredibly insightful and cleverly edited. Justinu0026#39;s camera never judges the two bands and the fans, but shows the true side of Hardcore Christian rock: people are happier than ever and have found a reason to live. u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eThe rhythm is good and we find some very intense human interactions. u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eI realize now that the movie is not entirely about religion, but more about anyone finding their way to happiness, be it by mixing tattoos, hardcore rock and faith to some God. These guys have been through some tough times in their life but somehow managed to get themselves together, thanks to this surprisingly huge and structured community. u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eGo watch ChristCore if you have the chance, it might not change your view on religion or Hardcore music, but it might change your view on people.”
