Agnes (2021). Agnes: Directed by Mickey Reece. With Molly C. Quinn, Sean Gunn, Chris Sullivan, Hayley McFarland. Rumors of demonic possession at a religious convent prompts a church investigation into the strange goings-on among its nuns. A disaffected priest and his neophyte are confronted with temptation, bloodshed and a crisis of faith.

“At first I felt like they forgot to add an ending to the movie, as if they literally forgot to copy/paste the ending to the film itself, but I think it was intended to be open for interpretation. It had a nice little build-up, the story was decent, intriguing at times, but I feel that it left too many questions unanswered. This can be annoying for some, which is rather frustrating considering the potential this movie had. I donu0026#39;t mind having watched this film, but due to the way it reached its ending, I couldnu0026#39;t give it more than a 5.5-ish. Characters had so much more to give, acting was ok. I would watch a second part or a continuation of this if it happened, just to see the character development reach a decent level. Otherwise, cinematics – ok, no A24 level, the choice of sound also pretty good. Other than that, the Agnes/Mary story had so much more, sad to see not reaching its full potential. Good effort though.”
