Twas the Night (2021). Twas the Night: Directed by Chris Rodriguez, Grant Rosado. With Nicole Pringle, David S. Perez, Paul Van Scott, Lisa Panagopoulos. A newly engaged couple tries to impress their soon-to-be in-laws with a lovely Christmas Eve dinner, but finds it a difficult task to complete while hiding a body in their house.

“All the Christmas movies seem to meet in this one, with the hominess of A Christmas Story, the menace of Die Hard, and the heart-warmth of Itu0026#39;s A Wonderful Life. This is an indy film without big names, but the talent is absolutely there and itu0026#39;s definitely a cut far above many made-for-tv holiday movies. It has high production values, with some really nice cinematography and (I think) an original musical score which is really good. Billed as both thriller and comedy, itu0026#39;s a rather dark comedy with the sun coming out at the end, and the u0026quot;thrilleru0026quot; element in just the right holiday-sized dose. The charactersu0026#39; names are all Christmas puns, which some might find a little much but which I found pretty humorous. This is a perfect movie to put on for the whole family during the down time on Christmas afternoon or any time when you want to just relax and watch a new, good, Christmas movie. It will probably become a yearly re-watch classic for many fans.”
