Open My Eyes: Directed by Gabriel Alfonzo. With Jeannie Garcia, Dominick LaBanca, Sharon Oliphant, Barrett Wiita. Photographer Paul Sanders has a passion for beauty – especially beautiful women. But in his spiritual blindness, he admires only the creation and not the creator. When Paul becomes physically blinded in a freak accident, he is forced to reconsider what true beauty means – and where it comes from. With the help of Abigail, a recovering alcoholic and down-on-her-luck singer, Paul realizes the meaning of love and the power of the Gospel to change people’s lives. Although he can no longer see, for the first time in his life, his eyes are open. A film of faith and forgiveness, “Open My Eyes” proves that even the hardest hearts can be turned and that broken lives can be healed if only we are willing to believe.

“Dominick LaBanca is a professional fashion photographer who in his daily life is surrounded by beauty, heu0026#39;s appreciative but accustomed to it. In fact his job as a fashion photographer heu0026#39;s almost a creator of it in terms of publicizing. Heu0026#39;s had a hard upbringing including losing a mother at an early age to cancer and that comes with a lot of suffering.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eAn auto accident leaves him blind and therefore finished in his profession. But when a new aide comes to help him in the person of Jeannie Garcia who is a Christian the inevitable does happen.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eI say as I always say when reviewing Christian films they follow certain parameters so you know what to expect. Still this one is not badly acted and though shot on chump change is probably good for more than church audiences.”
