“All the elements were there, but the editing was flat and scenes tended to play out way past their usefulness.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eThinking it was directed by an Eastern Indian, I excused these things to my companion as, u0026quot;Well, perhaps they have a different sensibility and sense of timing in Mumbai.u0026quot; But then I learned it was written and directed by Americans and was doubly depressed.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003e…Line has a great premise and is mostly acted and directed well. Maybe Iu0026#39;m too used to the fast pace of a/a films and TV, but scenes trailed off with no u0026#39;button,u0026#39; some of the time actors looked adrift and the Indian actors (u0026quot;Jenniferu0026#39;su0026quot; relatives in particular) were very melodramatic and over-the-top. All IMO, of course.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eAll that aside, I teared up at the right moments and for the most part enjoyed the two leads. Iu0026#39;d recommend it, but unfortunately not whole-heartedly.”
