The Solomon Bunch: Directed by Jason Prisk. With Jimmy Hale, Marty Kendra, Craig Crumpton, Abbey Kochman. A group of elementary-school children in small-town Georgia form a special club with the goal of becoming as wise as Solomon. Almost before they begin, however, they stumble upon a man in the woods who is speaking in strange voices–and he sounds dangerous! They immediately take it upon themselves to investigate and soon find themselves in trouble.

“Thought this would be a cute movie to share with my kids ages 10 and 12. Was really looking forward to the healthy moral and value features so many of todayu0026#39;s films omit. Sadly the film was soooooo very slow that my children grew bored in the first 15 minutes. Comments I heard were u0026quot;Kids donu0026#39;t really think this way at allu0026quot; and u0026quot;parents donu0026#39;t really speak this wayu0026quot; and u0026quot;How come all these kids run around without any supervision everu0026quot; I admit, I too.. found many scenes very unrealistic and hard to swallow, lol. The film was cheesy with a CAPITAL u0026quot;Cu0026quot; and had a cultish feel to it. As if, perhaps, some small town, narrow minded church filmed each scene using only non professional actors ( members of their own congregation ) themselves with messages or ideas they WISH were reality in todayu0026#39;s world. It was completely unbelievable and the lines were very forced. In all honesty we turned it off and found an alternate film to watch that actually entertained us.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eThe story idea may have been great. The execution just didnu0026#39;t work. Perhaps this film was created for a very very young Sunday school/church camp audience? Definitely not for mainstream public viewing.”
