Ekstase (1984)

Ekstase: Directed by John Derek. With Bo Derek, George Kennedy, Andrea Occhipinti, Ana Obregón. Set in the 1920s, a young woman sets out to lose her virginity. Her mission leads her to a Moroccan sheikh and a Spanish bullfighter.

“While this isnu0026#39;t the disaster that most everyone seems to think that it is, u0026quot;Bolerou0026quot; is still pretty weak. The storyline is okay, at least it was enough to keep me mildly entertained, but I have to admit that the film was certainly dragged down by Bou0026#39;s inability to act. The abduction scene towards the end also stands out as rather pathetic, and I was unable to take this movie seriously for the remaining few scenes. In other words, there are serious flaws that hamper this film, and I certainly donu0026#39;t recommend it, but there is no way that this is one of the worst films of the 1980u0026#39;s.”
