“I have to admit, the movie is full of cliches. And even when it tries to play them down (in a moment of self reflection of Emilia Schüles character seen most notably), it cannot entirely get rid of them. It may think it is more clever than it is, in that and in other moments, but it really isnu0026#39;t.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eStill the actors do a great job and help elevate the otherwise mediocre and overly used plot/u0026quot;storyu0026quot; above average to say the least. The actors used here are really good as I said – even when they have to struggle through certain things. There is also a Citizen Kane reference that … is quite weird to be honest. It uses a different name than u0026quot;Rosebudu0026quot; but … well the intention is clear … actually it isnu0026#39;t … Iu0026#39;m not sure why this is in the movie. But that aside the movie is what it is supposed to be: silly fun.”
