“Underbelly is a well known series in Australia and is now into its 3rd Season – u0026quot;The Glitter Stripu0026quot;. This seems to be a TV movie centering in the brutal murder of 2 cops in 1998. It wasnu0026#39;t as punchy as the original series which was noted for its rawness, nudity and brutality! It is certainly worth a look, especially if you live in Australia, particularly Melbourne. It has a strong local cast, many of whom are recognizable from other Australian Dramas. The film also managed to get the feel and look of Melbourne suburbs in the late u0026#39;90u0026#39;s. I was surprised that the subject of u0026quot;Police Corruptionu0026quot; didnu0026#39;t feature much as that is the underlying intrigue of the ongoing series. Overall I enjoyed the film – although it was difficult not to compare it with the original series – which is u0026quot;must seeu0026quot; TV. TPB”
