Die Nervensäge: Directed by George Marshall. With Glenn Ford, Debbie Reynolds, Carl Reiner, John McGiver. TV writer Elliott Nash buries something under the new gazebo in his suburban backyard. But the nervous man can’t let it rest there.

“A story that twists and turns itu0026#39;s way through some good laughs. An unconventional, black comedy of sorts, this little gem from 1960 is amusing mainly through Glenn Fordu0026#39;s high strung nervous performance of the desperate husband whou0026#39;s run out of ideas. Debbie Reynolds and Carl Reiner give adequate performances in their roles. The overall feeling is a bit stagy at times, giving heed to itu0026#39;s Broadway beginnings, but still effective as a movie. Thereu0026#39;s a little comical tribute to u0026quot;Hitchu0026quot; in there that works quite well too. This early 60u0026#39;s film is still worth watching. 7/10.”
