The End?: Directed by Daniele Misischia. With Alessandro Roja, Roberto Scotto Pagliara, Benedetta Cimatti, Euridice Axen. Claudio is a businessman at the top of his game. On his way to an important meeting, his elevator gets stuck. What starts out as a mere technical difficulty turns out to be a catastrophe of much larger proportions. Bit by bit and with his cell phone being the only source of information as he is trapped between floors, Claudio realizes that the world as he knew it has completely gone down the drain. Once familiar faces have turned savage and blood-smeared. A lethal virus is transforming people into highly contagious, homicidal zombies. Trapped inside a metal cage, with the ravenous ghouls out to get him, Claudio must rely entirely on his wits and survival instincts to break out of this hell on earth.

“Usually i donu0026#39;t write reviews about movies because in my very little free time I prefer to watch them instead of writing about them, but this time I felt it was the case to write something.nThis is an italian movie, an italian television (RAI) production. Iu0026#39;m italian too and I know what Iu0026#39;m saying when it comes to italian movies, especially RAI productions: these usually are very mediocre and propagandistic products from Rome. Tourists think about Rome as the romantic city of lovers, of eternal beauty and sunlight, but its soul is made of darkness. It is a peculiar one because it is not just a city of power but the city of powers (italian state bureaucracy, catholic church, mafia, masonry etc.), that is a city of lies, violence and corruption. Movies from Rome reflect this situation: they are an hypocritical and laughable facade of a rotten building, made by mediocre actors (they arenu0026#39;t even able to speak italian, they only speak roman dialect) and mediocre directors.nI gave this film a chance in the hope it would have been different but it wasnu0026#39;t.nThe acting of the main character is very poor and the zombies arenu0026#39;t funny neither terrifying, they are just poor stupid actors.nThe director tries to create suspense by suddenly zooming on objects and by a questionable music selection, but there is no suspense at all, just a bad B-movie stink.nIf you are looking for a very interesting zombie movie, I suggest a french film that I enjoyed recently: u0026quot;La nuit a dévoré le mondeu0026quot; (2018).u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eP.S. Just a word for the fans of movie mistakes: the protagonist used a disposable wheel lighter to light a cigarette but, when turning off the lighter, you could hear the typical clanging sound of a Zippo lighter.”
