Donner-Teufel: Directed by Richard Rush. With Annette Funicello, Fabian, Diane McBain, Warren Berlinger. Stock car racer Tommy Callahan is forced to join Pete Madsen’s thrill circus after his blackouts cause a fatal accident that gets him thrown off the circuit. He shows Pete’s daughter Francie and her boyfriend Eddie Sands everything he knows about driving. Eddie takes up with Tommy’s girl Annie Blaine after winning the first time out. They become fierce rivals by the next race, during which Tommy remembers driving over his brother with a go-kart and Eddie hits the wall.

“Thunder Alley. Crash! Bam! Pow! What else can you ask for? Wipe-outs, crashes, brawls, drama, romance, soap opera suds, kissing, funky sixties dances. It just too groovy and far-out man!u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eThe story is lame. u0026quot;Bad Boyu0026quot; racing stud Fabien meets u0026quot;Good Girlu0026quot; Annette, loses girl, she meets another u0026quot;Badder Boyu0026quot;, finds true love at the end and everyone lives happily ever after.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eIn between the love-making and break-ups, you have some really u0026quot;excitingu0026quot; race car drama. Lots of stock-film of drag races. Lots of crowd shots, lots of wipe-outs and crashes, some between racer conflicts, some shapely girls doing the go-go.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eWhat else do you need. So, sit back, open-up a six pack (of soda!), munch on some pop-corn, chips, dip, and enjoy….Thunder Alley!”
